Very good job capturing the people! That was the most important part for the newsletter. I think on the shots that were into the sun, it would be an interesting experiment to try a graduated ND. It looks like that would work well...just a little something for the fun of it. I love to experiment...))))

I know it is after the fact now but, was there any thought of getting on some of the boats while they were docked, to take some shots? If you get to do the function at a later date I would ask even if to get a few staged close-ups to go along with the long shots.

Cute handle! The primary photographer got the cushy assignment to go out on the boats. I was filling in for the #2 photographer who was unable to attend, so the short answer is no. But I covered 3 other events that day and my shots all turned out great, so 3 for 4 ain’t bad for my first gig like that. They were very happy with all the shots I was getting, so I’m guessing I’ll be asked again. Thanks for asking.
