Made in China.
One question about it though, WHY are they still making more?

Wonder how long it will be before China decides to "export" them to the rest of the world....

Over the last few months, we've been inundated with much the same, ride sharing bicycles. There are currently 3 companies sticking bikes on every corner and places in between. I can understand the concept, but it's beginning to look more like litter than efficiency.

This is 'green' gone mad. Bike ownership comes with responsability. Shows how stupid some 'great' ideas can turn out so wrong.
Thankfully in London the 'Boris bike' has a pay meter! Certainly not made in great numbers either.

I should have mentioned that the bikes littering the street corners here are pay to ride, as well. It doesn't cost a lot either. However, they are continuing to grow into being an eyesore more than a Green Movement.

The first thing that comes to mind for me, besides what a waste is this is the result of Central Planning by a Communist country. Trying to clean their polluted air and employ millions of young workers. I’d say they have the ability to overproduce steel, rubber, bikes, anything they want and put western manufacturers out of business.

While past history has proven that import tariffs don’t work. The United States must have a Steel, Aluminum, and manufacturing base in case of a war. We won WWII with incredible fighting men & women and the ability to produce Tanks, Planes, Ships at unheard of amounts. Faster than the Axis could destroy them. IMHO.

And I agree with others, I’d not be surprised to see a dumping of cheap bikes here and the rest of the world.

It certainly made for some very interesting photos, but the waste is incomprehensible.

Yellow seems to be a popular color in China.
