I am pretty happy with my Acer "all-in-one", but is is not the greatest by any means. For laptop, I would look at the XPS line from Dell.

I am an Apple guy.Don't know what your budget is. I switched from Windows 2 years ago and have never looked back and don't miss the blue screen.

Why not? Only $900 more ($1099 vs $1,999) for the same specs...

Now to return to the actual question - yes, I7, 16 GB DRAM, 256 SSD, 4GB VRAM and 2TB HD will be a good platform for editing, and Lenovo makes solid machines (I’ve had many). I’d budget a few hundred for an external monitor which will make image editing much easier when you’re at home.

The 256 GB SSD sounds kinda small to me. If you want to install much software in addition to Creative CC, you'll quickly run out of space. If you *only* install Creative CC (in addition, of course, to the OS), you should be fine. If your budget will tolerate it, I would advise you to consider 32 GB of RAM.

The only advice is to purchase one from one of the big companies. They tend to be here when there is a warranty issue. I always purchase 1 notch below the current top technology. Get Good Speakers. You will enjoy them. My last two have been HP. Little more expensive, but they really take a beating.

I agree with other folks, the 225 GB SSD for the primary drive is too small. It is where you put all of your programs. My next one will be 1 TB as the primary and 4 TB as the secondary drive.

I purchased a new Dell XPS 15 with 4k display in November specifically with my photo editing use in mind as I wanted the portability. I have been extremely pleased with it's performance to this point. I also use it for presentations with digital projectors and other equipment and this machine has the needed interface connections which others I looked at such as the apple machines do not, you would have to carry a box of additional adapters to connect to anything with that machine.
I would suggest before you buy, try and go somewhere and look at the screen display, resolution, color accuracy, you will be impressed.
I have no loyalty to any brand, I just compared specs and costs, and am very satisfied with my selection so far. Hope this is of some help.

All the suggestions so far have been good except for the All-in-One. My company bought a few and they were slow and fussy. Go to Best Buy or similar store, look at the laptops. If you get a Windows based machine, the processor should be at least an Intel equivalent I-5, I-7 preferable. 32GB of RAM is great for memory and will last a while. 16GB works, though. The hard drive should be at least 1TB and you need to think about a backup drive, probably external or on the cloud. You may want an external monitor for better post processing.

Try to hook up with an experienced salesman. Best Buy can have someone from their Geek Squad assist.

If you go with Apple, they have several really good machines. MAC Pro, etc.

Have a lot of fun with this.

As much RAM as you can afford, and a bigger SSD drive. You'll be happy you opted for the upgrades.
I won't get into the Apple v. PC thing, go with what you're comfortable with on the OS.

Stay away of Lenovo. Poor quality control. Stick with Dell OR of you need to use the laptop outdoors then consider Panasonic Toughbook (model 53 or 54).

Do you have some data to back up the claim of poor QC? Lenovo bought the Thinkpad laptop business from IBM and is the laptop of choice for major IT companies such as Oracle, who buy many thousands each year. (As you mentioned, Dell also makes very solid laptops).
