The crocus are popping up and most of the snow is gone, it must be spring.
Although my snow crocuses have bloomed and the others are in bloom now as are miniature daffodils, we are in the midst of our 4th Nor'easter and a declared snow emergency!
Welcome spring photos, however!

Love the images, but on this first day of spring, we just received 8" of snow on the ground, with another 6" to 10" coming tomorrow.
One thing I've learned as I've gotten older, never build your house on a corner lot. I have over 2,000 square feet of sidewalk to shovel by hand.
COME ON SPRING!
These are really beautiful spring shots, Gary! I’m glad you’re seeing signs that spring is on the way!

Hi alliebess,
You've had a rough winter this year, and still getting dumped on. Typically in North Idaho we get a bunch of snow, but this year was somewhat mild. Every year is different. Actually I would have liked a bit more snow.
I hope Spring comes to Philadelphia soon.

Rolk, from what I've seen on the national weather reports, you've had an exceptional rough winter. Its seems like one storm after another, without having time to dig out before being hit by the next. I agree about the corner lot. I too have a corner lot, but everyone around here has a snow thrower. I also take care of two elderly people across the street. Everyone of my neighbors take care of each other.
I glad you liked the flowers.

Carol, I thought I had better get out and take some pictures of the Crocus before the deer find them tonight. They don't last long. I'm happy with Spring like weather, but I was hopping for one more good snow fall so I could capture some winter scapes. I like Spring much better than Winter.

Lovely, and a very encouraging sign, as it is still snowing here today.

Gary, what a beautiful sight to see... they are lovely and even a bonus fly stopped by for the photo shoot, but I can see that Mother Nature is playing favorites, we're getting a foot of white dumped on us today!! So I did enjoy seeing your first signs of spring crocuses!!
