Wife and I have an RV situated year round on a very large lake in Wisconsin. We spend a lot of time there...even in the winter blizzards. We spent St. Paddy's Day there this weekend. Bonfire and cocktails at 30 degrees...oh yeah! I walked down by the shoreline and captured this sunset. Nothing earth shattering, but I like it because the frozen lake looks like blue water. Note: SOOC Nikon D3100, 35mm 1.8.
What lake would that be, Jim? I live near Shawano Lake myself. Really like the color rendering of your sunset image? Stay warm, brother - the WI winter sun is bright, but the temps are still darn cold.
I am at East side of Castle Rock Lake. About 20+ miles north of Dells.4th largest lake in Wisconsin.
Winter sunsets in the Upper Midwest have a quality and character all by themselves!
