These were taken from the bank of the Clarence River at Maclean. Downloading is recommended.

If you want an honest feedback....

Pay attention to details that show the extensive PP that took place.

1) I doubt there was a fire in the foreground foliage. The white pole in the same area, on the right is out of place. Add the halo around the trees and you have real trouble for anyone paying attention.
2) Is better but there still are obvious discrepancies in the second palm-tree. The sky darkness, is gone.
3) The major flaw resides on the mast and the rolled up sail. They are way too light compared to both the background vegetation and the boat itself. Same halo issue with the line trees. Also blue tint in the trees on the left is out of sort with the right side considering that they are both supposed to have no or virtually no light.

These captures are good starts but need work to become winners.

My recommendations, if you care:
- Be less enthusiastic when post processing
- Pay attention to details

If I wanted critique, I would have posted my pics in the applicable section. I just enjoy taking photos & sharing with others & have no aspirations to produce professional quality photos, so I am sorry that these are not to your satisfaction. However, when it comes to the crunch, I am the only one who my photos have to satisfy. If I am only a mug photographer, than so be it. I know that you meant well, & I thank you for your comments.

Earl.

Nice work. I like #3 the best. I think it's the composition that makes it for me.
