Continuing the subject: Under the heading of "should have known better" I had tried some of the "compatible" inks as sold on Amazon. $75 for Canon ink and $18 for the K-ink cartridges. I intended to keep the letter from K-ink folks but she said that their ink is sold as general office ink and would be dull compared to photo ink. And as I found out, will not print on paper what you see on your screen and you just can't "tweak" it enough to get it right. So if you are going to print photos, use the ink, software, and paper from the same source, in my case Canon. For all that, I've about decided to just send them off, a photo buddy does and it really doesn't cost any more than doing it yourself. She uses White House Custom Color, whcc.com, 11x14, $4.40 and over $12 is free shipping. Ah, the world if full of choices. Top photo is Canon ink, bottom is with K-ink.
WOW! That's a huge difference!
