Near historic Jamestown is an interesting park (not associated with the National Park Service) that based upon the writings of the settlers recreates a Native American village, the three ships that brought the first settlers to Jamestown, and Fort Jamestown. Each area had workers dressed in appropriate time period clothing. The goal of this park is to show how the settlers lived. The workers gave demonstrations of various things, and my favorite demonstration was the firing of a (images of that in post #2). Thanks for viewing!
