Somehow I missed the earlier post about about a lens case for the 200-500. I don't seem to be able to find one that is the right size. Recommendations, please.

I finally found a case the Fits my D7200 with my 200-500mm lens mounted. Good quality , works great in the field. kinesis is the brand.Contact them.

ThinkTank and Lens Coat have big glass cases.

I got the one by Lowpro from B and H and it fits perfectly.

Ruggard LCY-112X5 fits mine perfectly as well. I have several Lens cases and their DSLR holsters were the only ones I could find to fit a gripped 5DMKIII at one time. They make very good products.

Take a look at a ProFox lens case on Amazon. Fits the 200 - 500 quite well and is of good construction.
