Does anyone have an idea when the D750 will go on sale again. i have periodically seen it for $2000 with the 18-120 lens. It is back to regular price of $2300. I d not need it that bad and can wait until it goes back on sale.

Guessing prices is less reliable than predicting the weather. Refurbished will usually give you a good price, as will used, but I prefer refurbished.

Periordically through the year. They just offered one. Usually about 3 to 4 times a year. So April? May? or June? Then again in the fall and for sure during the December holiday season.

Nikon seems to have sales around Father’s Day and again for Black Friday - Christmas.

"not need it that bad" That thought did not stop a lot of people from buying the D850. You might have better luck looking for a used/refurbished D810.

I have seen it quite a many times on sale for about $ 1600 dollars and sometimes less than that, but predicting when some outfit (and there are soooo many) will put it up for sale again, is next to impossible!

Buy a refurb and you don't have to wait for a sale! If not needed that bad, look forward to December.

Try going to Nikon's website and go to "deals" to look at what the "refurbished" camera body is selling for. I have been buying used/refurbished lenses for a dozen years (KEH for used, and manufacturers for refurbished, although you can sometimes find refurb at Adorama and B&H) and have only had one problem and it was taken care of really quickly even though I was out of warranty by a couple of months. Good vendors will always back up their sales of equipment with good service.
