Well we have nearly reached the end of our 6 weeks in the Arizona desert, last night we enjoyed our last campfire. I decided to use a couple magic color packets on the fire and photograph it just for fun, here are some of the photo's.

You have captured the fire sprites at play and dance, especially in photo #3!

Creative thinking at its best.

"Last campfire"? I doubt it.

Great abstracts! The second one looks like the head of a horse to me. Like that one a lot.

Outstanding creative photos. If you burn a campfire often, you can take a piece of copper tubing about 12-inches long and cut slices down its length with a hacksaw. Cut it about halfway through and cut them about 3/8 inch or so apart. Take pieces of clear nylon braided hose (like you would use to connect plumbing fixtures) that you can get at any Lowe's and stuff them into the copper pipe and place it in the fire. The copper gives off a green color and the hose gives off a variety of reds and blues as it burns. The copper tube can be used over and over again.

Amazing what you can do with a bit metallic powders and some imagination.
