This guy here had the ability to reflect just about anything of its surroundings back to the camera. Playing with different angles and positions I was able to diminish them substantially. Selecting some areas in PP helped to further diminish these reflections.
The Eco-Drive is an interesting technology that has been perfected since its introduction.
Eco-Drive is a model range of watches manufactured and marketed worldwide by Citizen Watch Co., Ltd., powered primarily by light. As of 2007, the company estimated the drive system had eliminated the disposal of 10 million batteries in North America.
Citizen introduced the Eco-Drive line to Asia, Latin America, and Europe in 1995 and to the United States in April, 1996.
The Eco-Drive concept introduced several technical refinements over previous solar powered watches, including light-capturing cells that could be made virtually invisible behind the dial instead of highly conspicuous, enhancing the appearance of the watch.
Gear: Canon 5D IV, Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro L lens. Shot handheld, natural light, no special equipment (apart from the camera!) at the back of my house, on a table in my terrace.
This is my latest watch acquisition.

Click on any image for a better version of it. The intricate design of the watch face makes for interesting images when viewed in detailed.
Thanks for looking.

This guy here had the ability to reflect just abou... (
show quote)
Looks good to me. I can see where this one would reflect lots of light . I can read all the dials and the writing. Very sharp images. Sure is a lot of information on that dial (Bezel?). I think it would take me a month just to figure out what kind of information is being offered, never mind interpreting it accurately. Good photos.

Interesting work. I assume this is a second expensive hobby.
