One of the advantages of a high MP camera is you can crop in very tightly and still have a respectable image.

When you are able to zoom in this close and still have great detail, we are able to see beauty that we would otherswise miss. Normally we observe birds from a greater distance. They are lovely but much more so when you can see all these fine details and great color.
