Getting Lower for the Shot

Nice shots! At my age, getting lower is not the problem, it is getting back up. LOL!

Can't squat down anymore I think my problem is old mussels. Had a physical last week and Dr. gave me an A+ but suggested some exercises for the legs. I sat down on the ground for the bike shot. For the car shot bent over and tilted the screen up and shot in live view. Not real easy to focus doing it this way.

Right choice in going low. Gives a sense of importance and monumentality.

A friend suggested I use this technique when photographing cars and I now frequently get "down and dirty"! Nice photos!

Nice approach. A cluttered background is always a problem at these shows. I got a few nice dynamic shots of fancy tires with my 10-20 crouching down low.

I was just going to type a reply and mention shooting wide angle lens while low will also make for an interesting look on a common shot.
