Hadn't heard about the death, or that the park had been on the verge of being shut down, rgrenaderphoto. I'm sure you'd agree that if we couldn't go there and wander around, it would be an enormous loss to all, photo-people and regular lookers alike. Bodie is the visual version of a kid's candy store.

I agree, what a shame to close it down...been several times and was looking forward to a return trip.
