High Trestle Trail Bridge

Was fortunate enough to place first in a photography contest with this picture in the "Architecture" category. A few a minutes after I started shooting, the sky opened up and it started pouring rain. Fortunately my back pack is waterproof and I rode my bike back to my car about a mile away. Was drenched but it was worth it.

This was taken in Iowa in the Des Moines area. I was there on business and someone told me about the bridge so I went there after work one evening. I am sure it is the same bridge.

It has an abstract aspect to it.

Very nice. It reminds me of lens aperture blades being opened and closed.
