This an Alexander James custom watch, using a Seiko as the sound base. Seiko is like the Chevrolet of the watch world. Relatively affordable, great performance and reliability. Its used as the starting point of a lot of custom and homage watches. They also make for nice images!

I never realized that there were "custom" made watches. I guess that a wealthy customer could commission anything they wanted from a watch maker; but I did not realize that people start with something like a Seiko and then customize it to their likes. Interesting. Also very nicely photographed.
