Again, natural light, hand held. Tried a closer image of the watch face this time. Elegant, sleek, timeless design watch.

Hi, Oscar
I have been enjoying your timepiece series. Your captures of the precisely machined and fitted components are exceptional, and I must admit that each elicits recall of one of my favorite images of one one of my all-time favorite photographers, Lewis Hine.
Some of your images allow a peek inside, revealing a coiled spring with stored energy that ultimately rotates metal things on axes to accomplish assigned purposes. I find the same relationships in Hine’s classic image. The stored energy in the (likely) steamfitter’s muscles turns the massive...but well-fitted wrench to rotate each nut about the axis of its assigned bolt...and then the wrench is moved to a nut almost directly across the pressure plate, in its precise, step-wise progression around the entire circle of nuts to be tightened.
Metal circles.

Power Source
Revolution about axes
Both images are definitely fascinating for some similar reasons...and the fascination transcends (at least for me...) the vastly different scales of mass and dimension.
Thanks for posting ...I’ll keep ....watching !
Dave
What an awesome image! I admit I love anything mechanical so my love for watches comes naturally. Thanks for looking and I will definitively continue posting some more in the future.
Purposeful pictures of a purposeful time machine - nicely done Oscar.
And I certainly see Dave’s connection with the boiler. All interesting photographs for the mechanically minded.

I like the close up work. Really gives us a good look at the details. Very nice watch, seems slightly ironic, though, to refer to a watch as "timeless". I do know what you mean. The design does not get dated and will look good throughout time.
