Little Lady On The Beach

Walking down the beach yesterday and encountered this young lady taking a nap. She is a Hawaiian Monk Seal, endangered species, I believe there are about 1200 left in the world. Not to worry I kept my distance and did not wake her, took the photo with my 105mm Nikon Micro lens.

Thanks Stan. Think I'll pass on the snuggle, between her teeth and Federal Law i think I would have a problem, not to mention my wife was with me.

A beautiful shot and a beautiful model, Joe! I'm so glad you identified this lady. I don't know one seal from another.
