I don't see in your post or this thread what computer or smartphone you use. If you're an Apple user, iMovie does all you describe for free. I use Perfect Video which you can buy for an iOS device for very little, which I prefer to iMovie. It is easier to use in my opinion, and has some excellent but easy to use editing options, such as adjusting exposure and saturation. I've never been able to use Microsoft's baked in video editor myself. Cannot figure it out. But many others love it. Please let us know what systems you are on though, or you end up with lots of random ideas, some of which are expensive and overkill. You really do not need to spend any really money to do what you describe. Ignore anyone who says you do.
