In the morning I was at the Huntington Beach pier with Brent Harder shooting surfers. In the afternoon, my wife and I were hiking in the local Santa Ana Mountains. Saw the Pacific Coast close-up and from afar all in the same day.

Nice ones..but its a shame that white marker pole is in the second shot!

Hi CWilson341, thanks for viewing. The second image was a trail intersection that was part of our return trip. The light and the narrow trail heading into the trees caught my cameras eye. Glad you enjoyed.

Hi Doddy, I'll have to re-edit the shot without the white pole. It was originally shot simply as a trail location. The golden light from the late afternoon sun and the narrow path winding into the trees caught my attention. It wasn't until later that I looked closer at this image. For me, the white post had meaning but, i agree, for others its probably just undesired noise. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for visiting.

Thanks chevyman for visiting. It was a full day. We went back up the next day also. My feet protested for a couple of days but the hikes were well worth it.
