Thanks Bob. I read the forum everyday, but usually don't comment.

Yes, I am pleased that they don't eat my trees. On the other hand, I have had pesky woodpeckers make holes in the side of my house so that they can live between the walls in the winter. My home is seasonal-use .... I'm only there spring through fall.

Nice ones, Bob! Wouldn't mind them, but they're so noisy at five A.M.!

Always nice to hear from you! They will punish you a little later for a while now!

These are the neighborhood guests that seem to show up at the feeders about once a year...the American Crow. They show up singly or as a pair and can empty the feeders in an instant. These shots from last time they were here were taken with my 400mm prime lens that was on the tripod through the kitchen window. They are so large that I couldn't fit but one of these shots in the frame and that was after he moved...I was all the way back against the far wall.

Bob, excellent and using a 400 prime!! I always find it is just as hard to get the black of the crow to show up as the white is on any other bird. These all have great detail.

Morning, Greg! The 400 is my standard equipment on my "through the window" tripod set-up. Thanks for visiting, commenting and for the multiple smilies!
