Travels with Bob.......A Visit To Funchal, Portugal.
With this post I hope to complete a series that was started in May, 2016 & came to a halt with a post dated 6/18/16. ( "A Feast For The Eyes! 6") My next Topic following that on July 27, 2016....."A Peaceful Moment"......explained that we had experienced one of those....life interruptions. Having never finished that adventure.....will try once again! On one of the recent Challenges.....I shared a couple of colorful shots from that trip. Will try not to repeat earlier pictures except for the 1st one. It's still remains one of my all time favorite shots that I've ever taken. Please enjoy my next few posts that will complete our 14 day cruise to Barcelona, Spain. Bob
(!) We were on Royal Caribbeans... Vision of the Seas. This was on day 2 after we left Tampa, FL. Snapped this on the way to dinner.

Bob, what an excellent series! The last one really caught my eye, and I'm sure they have an awesome view, but my acrophobia would keep me clinging to the doorframe!
Thanks Rolk.......for the 3 smiling thumbs up! And then for the big S M I L E that crossed my face with your "acrophobia would keep me clinging to the doorframe!"

One of my favourite places Bob, I spent a week there last year. Lovely series brought back happy memories.
Have you taken additional photos of the people ? The Portuguese are marvelous people, warm and friendly.

I can see why you like the first shot, but they're all nicely done. I'll make a point of looking for more. Thanks for sharing.

Greetings to.....thehokiewahoo. Appreciate your checking out my Funchal post. I know several of my pictures do have people in them, but will look closer to see if I captured the locals....or us tourists! In a way.....it reminded me of our 18 years of Island living in Hawaii.....which was also "warm & friendly". Much appreciated, Bob
