An elegant chunk of metal from the 70's. This was the first battery powered quartz movement by Omega. Watch is fully functioning and well preserved, metal strap is not original.

To photograph this one more care was needed to avoid bothersome reflective highlights.

Taken with the Canon 5DIV and Canon Macro 100mm f/2.8 L lens. As always feel free to click on any image to see a better version. Thanks.

Very sharp, nicely lit. You handled the reflective materials very nicely. Were some of these taken with a macro lens?

Thanks. Yes I used the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro L lens for all of these images.

I borrowed that lens from a friend but didn’t seem to master it at all. You certainly have though. Nice shots that show off the ‘engineered’ look of the watch. Love that bezel retaining plate and it’s four screws - very purposeful. Perhaps I’ll try the lens again.
