I saw this group of cut flowers in the floral department of my supermarket. I liked the strong contrast between the dark green centers and the vivid yellow petals. I asked the attendant in the floral department what was the name of these daisies and she told me they were Chrysanthemums. I didn't comment, but immediately looked them up on the internet when I got home...they are Chrysanthemums! I was wrong again! These are specifically-Chrysanthemum Pom Pom Daisies ATLANTIS. I have since found that they also come with a strong bronze petals with green centers as well as red petals with green centers. I tried getting a picture in the light box. Hope you like this bloom as much as I have!

Beautiful images, Bob! I've seen this mum variety at the market, and they're fast becoming my favorites. They look more like daisies than mums but have the long vase life of mums...the best of both worlds.

Bob, whatever they're called.... they are bright and cheerful and beautifully photographed.... especially the single flower, did you use a piece of black plexi or your electric stove top, like I do!!
