Not a frequent visitor to my yard but on this date, he found a squirrel at my outdoor bird bath and couldn't resist. A beautiful bird doing what comes naturally in nature.

Have a nice week!

The local Red-Tails could take a lesson. I'm infested with squirrels, and the hawks don't bother with them. Maybe they taste bad? Anyway. Exquisite shots of this one!

Really nice shots of the cycle of life. Sometimes it sucks to be a squirrel. Gary

The most prominent hawk that visits my yard is the Cooper's Hawk...typically preys on game that is a little smaller than a squirrel. I recently had one of the Cooper's feeding on a squirrel in my back yard. I didn't see the kill so I am not sure that he made it...he did seem to enjoy it, however.

Nice to hear from you!

Bob
