A few more hockey shots.

I tried a couple different spots and shot with my 3 primes last night.
Just missed a few epic shots - puck placement was not perfect and obvious.
I'm getting better and trying some new settings. I worked the shutter
speed down a bit, upped the ISO and shot a few around 2.8 for
better in focus depth. I also tried shooting really tight to get some
faces.

These shots are wonderful. You always capture the feel of the game. My favorite is no. 1 I can't believe how big that guy is. Great lighting too.

Thanks! He is a pretty good size player but the other guys was definitely small. The whole night this is what they did to him,
stick one player on him and just shove(try) him around at the front of the net. Plan didn't work so well as Point
put up 5 goals on them anyway.

I was able to post 23 keepers out of 170 shots. These were the most interesting.

I have a D7200 which is new to me about a month. I pretty much use the 35mm f1.8, 50mm f1.4 and the 85mm f1.8
for the indoor sports stuff. My buddy has a Tamron 70-200 f2.8 which I may borrow for this weekends playoff game,
then my daughters last volleyball tournament Sunday.
