Love pelicans! Very different in a good way. Excellent! Visited your Flickr site. Were the pelicans fairly close? When I see them they are far off in the distance.

Thanks. The images are all cropped but they did get close enough to put a good number of pixels into the frame. If you watch their landing patterns you can see where they're going and reposition yourself.

Correction on location name: Alafia banks, not Alafia flats. Alafia river empties into the bay nearby. The banks are a series of small mangrove islands accessible only by pontoon boat.
Very nice shots of these guys...my favorite is the 1st one.
