These are rather old -- all being taken in early 2010 & are what I think to be pretty good examples of why I always shoot in RAW --
Purchased my 1st DSLR the one that took these shots in late 2009 having come from a half a zillion years shooting slide film --- for post processing due to total ignorance I limited myself to the "free" software that came with the camera --
I recently dug the Patagonia shots out of storage & this time post processed using DxO PhotoLab ---
The originals via Canon DPP looked just Ok to not good at all while these looked so good I felt I should share a few ---
These are rather old -- all being taken in early 2010 & are what I think to be pretty good examples of why I always shoot in RAW --
