Each year, on the first day temps rise enough to melt the snow here in the north, Madame P emerges coatless from the Ministry of Mayhem and takes a quick stroll outside. She sniffs the air, licks a finger and holds it up to test the wind, and smiles at the warmth. The grass immediately turns green, daffodils and tulips poke their heads up, and the birds begin to sing.
But if she sees her shadow, she shivers and runs back indoors; the grass turns brown again, the birds fall silent, and we'll have six more weeks of winter.
Excellent Portrait as always Randy and it's nice to see you back.

Thanks, Angler. The batteries were getting a little low and I needed a break, lol. But all's well here at the Ministry, back in full operation again with all sorts of mischief and mayhem in the works!
Thanks as always for the kind words, they're much appreciated!
Welcome back - we missed you!
Outstanding portrait. Where have you been, hope it was a warm place, glad to see you back Randy.

Does she have relatives in Pennsylvania? MP looks great.
I can easily see how Madam P's appearance would profoundly affect the surrounding environment. I doubt she ever sees her shadow.

Glad to see you back - I have missed the Ministry of Mayhem reports as well (and an excellent portrait of Madam P).
Cheers,
Chris
Beautiful portrait on download! When will Madama P perfect cloning so we can all have a chance at early spring?
Great to see you, Randy.
Welcome back! Madam P portrait is outstanding, beautiful work! Like others who have posted we have missed your reports from the ministry. Hope all is well with you!

Nice to see you posting, Randy. Always a pleasure to see Madame P with or without the birds and flowers. Looking forward to some of your Maine seascapes when the weather gets better. You haven't done any portraits of your lovely ladies in an outdoor setting yet. At least none I can recall. The natural light and setting might provide a more relaxing situation for your beautiful models. No bright lights and a background of gorgeous scenery. Just a thought.
The Madame looks lovely, nice work and good to see you posting again, Randy!
She is so beautiful and classy...no chance of confusing her with a groundhog. Glad all is well in the usual mayhem kind of way.
