My main short term goal is to become more consistent. I recently switched from a canon 6D to 7D mk ii and after knowing the 6D so well, I’m having a rough time with the 7D. I switched because I’m really working in BIF and wildlife, but am frustrated with the results.
It’s ok because I’ll keep at it. Anything with doing is worth doing right!

May I suggest you look for a copy of Canon EOS 7D Mark II for Dummies (no slight intended). I used it along with the owners manual and it helped me a great deal. I upgraded from a Rebel T5 to 7D II myself, found a copy on Amazon for around $25.00 delivered. The author is Doug Sahlin has also written about the 6D and 7D, ou can also go to the website Dummies.com.

Thank you so much, your timing is great as I was just looking through amazon books relating to the 7D mk ii! I downloaded one, but will definitely check out your suggestion. I figure that I don’t need to struggle if the answers are out there.
