Not sure if I should laugh or cry at this...

a year ago I would not have even turned my head at a camera 'on sale' or driving the salesperson crazy by looking at EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. in the case... Now? Now it's the first thing I look at when I go and...AND...OMG... ogling at them is better than sex. (Granted, at my age, sex is what it is LOL. OOOPS. should I not have said this??? TOO LATE!)

LOL.

I just put yet another camera on lay-a-way.

This will be my third in less than a year. Granted they are used and from the pawn shop, but still...

Help?! LOL (not really, but it sounds good.)

One of these days, our collections might show up in a real estate sales as $50 per bag including camera, lens and the bag.
They will be collector's items, as film/polaroid cameras

================

You are very welcome

;-)

AND = As If Those were not enough.

Here is one of the four "Sliding-Box" cameras that I built. These are used with the paper negative experiments I have been doing. So = These ARE very Historical, in that the sliding-box cameras were used by the first photographers around 1835 to about 1850 when they were replaced by the "Bellows Focusing" systems.

My The Light Be With You.

Archie Bunker was old, overweight, grouchy and insecure. He had to control the world around him so that he could feel better about himself.

Where is the fun in that?

And if you're not having fun, why do it at all?

I'm going to enjoy my journey, but you can do with it what you want...

Stifle that.

Last summer I was in a pawn shop. They had a Nikon ( I forget the model ) and it had 3 or four lenses, bag and some other stuff. Anyway it looked to be in very good shape. And it was priced about $150.00 below market value. The sale tag said Sold As Is. So I thought there might be something wrong with it. And I walked away from it. The next day I was having second thoughts and went back to the pawn shop and it was gone. I asked the clerk what did they get for it he said they took another $50.00 off the price. I was thinking of buying it shipping it off to KEH and picking out a new lens. For as cheap as it was I think it might have been worth the gamble. I still stop in once in a while.
I have bought some Canon kit lenses from them. They are so cheap its hard to let them go. $10.00 to $15.00 dollars each. I have no idea if they work. I have a Nikon. I think I have 3 or 4 Canon kit lenses. When I get enough I will trade em in.😎

Depressing, but true, and for some of us it's not far in the future. >Alan

Unfortunately, my ukulele count is up to twenty-seven.
In my experience, ukuleles are like salted peanuts. Only one is impossible! I have been playing a year, and I already have 2. Do you have a photo of your collection? I'm trying to control myself since I have 4 guitars. Also 4 cameras, but 2 of them are point-and-shoot.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Hedgehog Zone. Unfortunately, there is an epidemic in the Hedgehog Zone known as GAS - and there is no cure!

That is great, good imagination!

I can help you out with this problem, as I suffer from the same disease!

You send me your money so you can't buy anything, I will spend it on my OCD purchases! Problem solved, I helped you and you helped me! What a great friendship! Just kidding (maybe not) enjoy your new camera no eras and gadgets!
