Most of the squirrels here in Ontario are black. Black squirrels are a derivative of the eastern grey. I may have 10 black to 1 grey around the bird feeders at any given time. The occasional red squirrel shows up too. When they become a nuisance I live trap the blacks and relocate them. I usually end up taking 25 to 40 off the property every year, particularly when they start climbing on the screens. But being next to a large woods it does not take long for them to show up again.

Thanks D7200 with the Nikkor 70-300 usually at the 300mm setting in manual mode with the ev cranked +0.7. I try not to shoot below f10 and 1/500 handheld but these were down to f7.1 and 1/320 shooting into the dark background hence the +EV
