Spingfield, Oregon. Building was moved a few blocks and restored as part of a local park.
Great image and glad that the depot could be preserved

Me too. I understand that cost drives old buildings to be destroyed and replaced with new construction. But sometimes it is a shame I think. We had a nice old style minor league baseball stadium with wooden bleachers and long columns supporting the roof. An iconic style from early last century, similar in design to the Detroit Tigers stadium. The owner didn't want to spend the $ to update it and the minor league team now plays at the local university field. The grass is nice at the university but the venue has no character. The depot was obtained by the local park district as a long term project that eventually bore fruit. It now houses the local visitors center offices.
Was this Depot on the GN or the NP line?
A very good job, both the restoration/relocation and the photography!
Very commanding image. Nice framing.
Thank you David and Ramm. Appreciate your looking it over.
