Stunning landscapes, Sylvia. The rich greens, blue skies and puffy clouds are so inviting! All you close ups are beautifully done, too!

Thank you as always for your encouraging kind comments Carol so pleased you enjoyed them. The light was beautiful the only thing that wasn’t was the wind! Had a difficult job standing upright.

These are beautiful images. Congratulations. My only sadness is the crisis in cape town of almost out of water. It looks to be very concerning. It is good to see your images of what a beautiful country.

Thank you very much Tom for your kind comments pleased you enjoyed the set, appreciate you looking in.

We have been visiting for many years and something should have been done earlier, two years or more ago they were talking about the situation they are in now. The houses we rent in Cape Town and suburbs areas have a 50 litre water limit per person per day. If it is exceeded the owners of the property are heavily fined. If they do not get heavy rains soon, Day Zero will happen early June when all the residential taps will be turned off. They will have to collect a daily ration of 25 litres of water per day from a standpipe. It has made us very aware of how we use our water in the UK.

Very nice pictures. Looks like the lens is doing a great job for you. I like going on vacations without going so keep the pictures coming. But we will be going in June. How are you dealing with the lack of water?

Pleased you enjoyed them byuaceman thank you very much for your comments they are appreciated.
The quota of 50 litres per person per day is in Cape Town and suburbs, we stayed in Somerset West when we first arrived. We rent houses and they have been fitted with water meters, going over your limit sees the house owners getting heavy fines. We actually managed very well it is easier than you imagine.
Day Zero is around early June when the taps will be turned off for domestic use and your allocation will be 25 litres per day, collectable from stand pipes. If you are staying in hotels they ask you to be aware of the shortage but the only limit being take a shower and not a bath.
We are out here for a month and are staying along the Garden Route which has no restrictions at the moment. We will be back in the Cape Town area for the last 11 days of our hols, so will be back on rations again!
Hope you have a great time it is a beautiful place, stay safe and keep clean.
