Bernie, the first is a Grackle and the third is a juvenile Red Winged Blackbird.

Just noting the obvious! Keep them coming and thanks for the IDs.

I love the way you amuse yourself..
DebAnn, Dave, PhotoGirl - Thanks very much for your comments. I do appreciate it.

Bill de, you get much better pictures from your garage than I do outside on a nice day. You must really attract a lot of interesting birds. Here in Southern California, we have virtually no rain, so getting outside is not the limiting factor. Today it was in the 70's. Nicely done!
And you amused me, too! Lovely pictures.
SAVH, Eleanor - thanks very much for the kind words. The are appreciated very much.

Question: Why is there no red on the wing of the third one? I saw some like this once and there was only gold outling on the feathers. Couldn't find a picture of them. They didn't look real!

It's a Juvenile. However, occasionally on an adult will be all gold. We had one around are pond for a few years who everyone called Goldie. One year he had nine females that hatched babies in IIRC seven of the nine nests. Then the HOA decided to kill the cattails that they nest in.
