How NOT to clean your camera and lens!

While a dishwasher is good for the outside, I like to use my clothes washer with a half load of towels in a front loader to get that deep cleaning. Gain is a pretty good detergent. I hang the bodies up to dry as the tumbling is pretty noisy.

But that's me. Your mileage may differ.

If someone actually has a camera for use underwater, I see no problem with giving it a good rinse in the dishwasher every so often. Gotta get rid of those brine deposits somehow, doncha? Hmmm? 😈

Oh I did that often with my 2 Nikonos. I do have to keep the lens on though.

Come on EdJ3087. We don't need more of that idiocy.
I see you aren't new here so it must be you haven't been paying attention. Checking your profile page it looks like you don't spend much time in the Chit-Chat section or you would know what I was talking about.

And it's EdJ0307 not EdJ3087. Not paying attention again??
