I believe that the story stated that the lawyer paid this woman, not Donald Trump. So, if you wish to impugn Pres. Trump based on what his lawyer did, or possibly not do, then anyone who's hired a lawyer is suspect.

I've had to hire an attorney a time or two, and I can't recall any of them ever having reached into their own pocket to pay for anything.
