Don't count on it. Sig other's 48-yo son moved in for a few days 10 years ago. but at least he asks before he drinks my beer.
Pretty girl. Maybe you won't have that issue.

Good eye for light- a few tweeks on posing and exposure and you're on your way!

Why don't you enumerate the "Tweeks"?

Tweeks - in two photos, subject is resting heavily on a straight, supporting arm. General rule of thumb: “If a joint bends, bend it” or, at least present in a relaxed state. Also, don’t put weight on the supporting arm- it shoves the shoulder upward - looks un-natural and flattens/widens the arm against the body. Of course it IS natural but….

Eyes generally follow the nose- unless looking AT the camera.

None of the above are “hard and fast” rules… just guides/suggestions: hence “tweeks”

Images 1,5, 6 & 7 appear to be slightly underexposed… correctable with a bit of PP… or monitor calibration… the OP's or mine...

Thank you much Fuminous.

I agree about underexposed shots, but I think 1 & 7 are O.K. The light on the wall background helps #1; White dress against dark water in #7 also works I think.

The pensive poses in #3 and #5 are my favorites.

#8 is merely a snapshot (and that's not a sin). Aside from artistic constructs (backgrounds & poses) these are "Memory" shots for family & friends.

Please explain your comment, "Eyes generally follow nose". Not sure what you mean?

The one in the red dress is my favorite, quite good. The wider one (landscape aspect) in the water, needs a little more light on the face but looks good. Love the lighting on the photo with the purple sweater. The one with Boyfriend? kissing I prefer a little darker. I don't think you have much to improve on as they are great! beautiful model!

How interesting... I never thought or considered that, but it sounds reasonable.

Thanks.
