I took this shot overlooking downtown Boise, Idaho on New Year's Eve, 2017.
For those interested, I used my Nikon D750 and a Tamron 15-30 f/2.8 lens (at 29mm). The exposure was 20 seconds at f/11.

Good panoramic night shot.
A must view in the download for detail.
Well taken.

Thanks. Not to be nit picky, but it wasn't a panorama. I shot it with a super-wide lens.

This is very nice. I don't know if you are the same person who put a very similar picture out a couple of weeks ago.
At that time I mentioned I am originally from Boise and as a kid I took a photo class and the teacher had a picture like this. Of course, Boise was much, much smaller in those days.
Last time I was in Boise I took a picture down Capital Boulevard but it was daytime. That picture looks uncannily, almost exactly like a picture you can see on onetravel.com when you look up flights to Boise. I have always, since I saw that picture as a kid, wanted the same nighttime picture but have never done it. I have only done day time. I hope to go up to Boise this summer. Perhaps I will get the picture then. I do have a few pictures of Boise parks on dreamstime.com. It is a lovely city.
It is also one of the most economically viable city in the nation and construction is always going on downtown. I also love the Broncos. The Boise State Football team, (and other sports) as the football team plays on the blue smurf turf. I love it. They had a great, great recruiting season this year. Go Broncos!

Yup, it was me. Boise is great, but don't let the word out. ;-)
