Oh my ... there's some miles on that one. I'm talking about the truck ...
I shot this old truck last summer, I'm a Kansas field
For Gods sake - how did weddings turn into trucks...
We are easily distracted by typos. Should have been trick shots and there is another thread for the corrected title.

Let's face if folks, one thing you need to survive as a wedding photographer and maintain your mental heath is a good sense of humor. Grumpy folks and soreheads won't fare well in this job. Off-topic subjects, jokes and even silliness can be a welcome distraction, especially with some of the nastiness that goes down in some the other sections. So...as far as I am concreted, y'all- just keep on TRUCKIN'! Cool truck shots are always fun and that wedding couple with the old truck is priceless!
As far as TRICK shots are concerned- I don't know exactly what the OP meant; double exposures, romantic moods, special effects? My personal approach is a mixture of elegant formals. spontaneous candids. emotional captures all in a comprehensive coverage. I've always avoided fads or special effects that call attention to themselves. I try to treat each bride and groom as individuals and furnish what the want me to emphasize about their wedding day. If they want really exquisite formals in a fantastic setting, I just make certain that they understand that will have to plan and put aside the time during their day to devote to their photography, otherwise it's catch as catch can! An hour or s between the ceremony and the reception usually does the "trick"! I hope this answers the OP's question.
