I haven't found as much time to spend with my camera as I'd like lately, so yesterday I got some unexpected time and decided to have an indoor photo shoot with some cameras I got from a relative. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!
Looks like a Great collection of "starter cameras". Film is STILL available, so get at it ! Have FUN !
My 1800's Kodak Hawk-eye made of wood. Still works with several film holders.

Kodak ran a "Hawk-Eye" plant in Rochester for many years.
That's really neat! I've never seen a wooden one before, nor have I seen the film holders. You are lucky to have it! Thanks for sharing.

Nice collection of cameras. I've actually used some of those "oldies." Film holders were in use into the 1950s (perhaps even later) with the big press cameras such as Speed Graphics and 4x5 black and white sheet film.
I have a bunch of these old cameras... but now what do I do with them ? I'm 76 years old and if I kick off the kids won't have any identity with them and someone will come in an offer them a couple of hundred for them and off they go.. This is about a fourth of what I have. I have some miniatures as well
I have all of those cameras except the Sawyers Mark IV. I had never heard of it. I found it in my McKeown's Camera Guide. Nice photo.

Beautiful collection. Perhaps a local museum or historical society would be interested? One in my area has a nice collection that was on exhibit a few years ago.
I use to look for bargains and bought toy cameras, advertising cameras, miniature cameras. I have old film that expired the year I was born (1942). I have a bunch of stuff. Several light meters, etc. At one time I had bought, at auction, 3 Professional 16 mm movie cameras each had a 3 lens turret full of some massive lenses on them, for $25 each. They weighed a ton and took up a lot of space so I put them up on Craig's list and sold them for enough to by my Canon T2i with 2 zoom lenses.
