Are there any T mount lens extenders that screw into a 72mm lens?

I'm not at all sure what you are asking.
Are you talking about t mount extension tubes or something that screws into the 72mm filter thread?

Exactly what is it you are trying to achieve?

Assuming you mean a 72mm filter thread, no. If you’ll specify the lens, camera mount, and what you want to accomplish, someone here will be be glad to help you.

This might be a question for the pros.

If you look for conversion lenses, it does not matter at all, what mount they are!

What are you going to do,with the "extender"? It would help to know so people could figure out what you're talking about.

We're confused by your question and need more info...

A "T-mount" is a type of interchangeable mount used on the rear of some lenses that allow them to be configured for use various camera systems. They don't "extend" anything. (Modern cameras and lenses don't use them... but some systems can in a more or less limited way utilize vintage lenses that employed T-mounts.)

There are "extenders" in the form of Macro Extension Tubes (no optics) that go between the lens and the camera, allowing the lens to focus closer. Macro extension tubes have no internal optics, they just increase the distance between lens and camera to render higher magnification (but it won't be possible to focus on more distant objects or to infinity, while the extension tube is installed). How much extension is needed varies depending upon the lens focal length, the lens' native close focusing ability and how much additional magnification is wanted to be achieved.

Also, Canon (and a few others) call their teleconverters "Extenders". Those also go between the lens and the camera, but have optics to increase the power of select telephoto lenses, with some limitations. Among the limitations... A teleconverter needs to be able physically fit both lens and camera. Also, there's a significant amount of "light lost" to the added device, which may cause autofocus slow down a lot or fail completely, and/or make a viewfinder too dark to focus manually. There's also some loss of image quality to the added optics... a little with weaker teleconverters (1.4X, 1.5X), more with stronger (1.7X, 2X) or a lot with the strongest (3X, etc.).

Finally, there are "conversion" lenses.... Optical accessories (sometimes called "diopters") that screw into the front, filter threads of a lens to change it's properties. Those come in three basic types: wide angle, telephoto and macro/close-up. Which you would want depends upon what you're trying to do. (I'm guessing it's the telephoto type, since that would "extend" the telephoto capability of the lens). This type is necessary to use on cameras that have non-interchangeable lenses. But the quality of the resulting images generally isn't as good as teleconverters. On the other hand, there's less "light lost" to accessory diopters, than there is to teleconverters.

So, you see why we're struggling to give you an answer. The way you've worded your question could suggest several different possibilities. We need more info. Tell us what you are trying to accomplish and the specifics of the camera and lens you are hoping to use, and we might be able to make better recommendations.

I think there are T-mounts for using cheap lenses on various camera mounts. And there are T-adapters, for mounting a different mount lens to another. Such a Sony's different two mount system. Neither of these two have nothing to do with an extender or a teleconverter. I am not aware of any 72mm lens. Not saying none was ever made.

For the life of me I'll never be able to understand why a poster will ask a question and people will respond asking "we need more info" and the poster never responds...WHY?

I believe I'm inquiring about a telephoto conversion lense that would screw into the 72mm filter threads. Specifically, if there is one, could it be used with the Sony RX10 -4.
