Excellent set Donna. Artistically thought out and well done. I think the first shot would not have the same impact without the reflection. Very nice.

Thank you so very much, Doc, and I agree with you completely about the reflection! I think it would be a rather dull shot without. Reflections and shadows just seem to anchor certain subjects. I hope you're enjoying your trip. Stay safe!!

No flowers, bugs or birds. Hope you enjoy anyway... For the first I used my lightbox lined with black fabric with a sheet of clear plexiglass on the bottom for reflection. Please try the downloads.

Both are very nice, and the second brings back a pleasant memory for me. Many years ago my camera club was having a sort of "fun day" workshop in a large room that contained, among other things, an old piano that got no one's attention. Then in walked a member with cerebral palsy who took one look at the piano and set up his tripod and 5x7 Deardorff and took a photo virtually identical to yours. With his disability it took him quite a while to get his camera set up, but he wouldn't think of letting anyone help him. He was an excellent photographer and well known locally. I've never forgotten that and still kick myself for not seeing that potential image myself.

Jack, thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful story. To be honest, it made my day, and it's also very humbling to find that my image made you think of his. I'm so glad that my picture of the piano brought back such pleasant memories for you. Thank you again...

Maybe cabin fever is not bad after all. Makes us be creative and use our minds to find interesting items to shoot. Enjoyed these Donna. My bulbs are sprouting already. Hope they have nice blooms later.

I supposed there is an upside to cabin fever, Sandy. I certainly do need to spend my energy on something creative than complaining about the weather, which I've been doing too much of lately. Thanks so much, Sandy. I'm glad you enjoyed, and I'm anxious to see your spring blooms!!

Though I love your flowers, these are wonderful. I've done some similar but am never totally pleased. Love your lighting.
