I was looking at a site for used camera gear out of Indiana, called UsedPhotoPro, has anyone had any dealing with them that they would share with me?

It is Roberts cameras. It is an old established company. I just bought a used 70 200 f4 is lens from them this week. The are good reputable company. I have used them in the past both at the store and online. They have top customer service, In fact I prefer them over some of the more recognized co. I bought the lens from them direct for less than other places and being local I had to pay In. sales tax but was still less than Ebay and am well satisfied with the condition. Shipping is free on most items.

I can vouch for Roberts. They are my go to store even though they are a couple of hours away.

I have noticed, on many of their lenses they have for sale, even the ones listed as in "mint condition," it says "lens has light internal dust." that alarms me, should it alarm me? Would you advise me to buy a lens that has that label attached to it?

I purchased a fairly expensive used lens from Roberts recently, listed as mint. It was - couldn't be distinguished from new and was quite a saving. That's my only purchase from them so far but probably won't be the last.

virtually all zooms will "absorb" dust-some more than others. The nature of the mechanisms tends to create a vacuum when moving out. Once dust is sucked in, it's hard for it to find it's way out. Generally speaking, the internal dust rarely causes image problems, unless it is so thick as to cause a haze-or so large as to be seen in an image. Every zoom I own has some dust in it, and that includes my Canon L-glass. I wouldn't be alarmed at the "light internal dust" description-especially if coming from a reputable seller/reseller. I've sold to Usedphotopro and have been happy with their monetary offerings.

Yup, that’s Roberts Camera. I purchased a used Tamron 150-600 G2 in pristine condition. They have a good reputation and it was a pleasure dealing with them.

I’ve ordered a lens hood from them before. Check their ebay store...sometimes that’s cheaper, for the same item.

Very professional staff. I have both purchased and sold equipment with them. The D90 I recently purchased was an incredible value. The lenses have always been correctly graded.
Highly recommended.
