Nicely done.
The overall effect is lovely. You get a real sense of depth.
I like it.
Please share your technique.

Yes and no. I am attaching copies of a couple of the frames from the original raw shots. It is very close to the natural colors but as you probably know with raw you have to process to get back to that.
I also attached copies of the edited raw files so you can see what I did prior to merging the frames into the pano.
The last shot is a screen shot showing the edits in the basic panel of lightroom. I also reduced the haze -30 (effects panel), added my lens adjustments in the lens correction panel, sharpened to about 80 (Detail panel), and changed the white balance to 3900, reduced the highlights, opened the shadows, increased the whites and lowered the blacks, +30 on clarity, +20 on vibrance and +15 on Saturation (basic Panel).
The RAW file is flat and unimpressive. If the real scene had been the same I most likely would not have taken the shots. It was the color and layering of the mist and hills and changing blues that caught my attention to start with and that is what I tried to bring out in the final panoramic.
Thanks for looking and commenting,
Dave

Fabulous picture and great work. Had to look that location up as my wife is from Montana, Actually just north, from Whitefish. She loves it too.
The tone and color set the image! Love it.

Dave, love the way you handled the shots to get this result! I've just been working on some sunrise images and it is sometimes a struggle to decide how to maintain that sense of depth and layering of the mountains and contours on each mountain. Perhaps I am complicating things too much - your image has a beautiful simplicity!
