Last night I just figured you for a belligerent drunk. At this point I suspect alcohol has nothing to do with it.

Enjoy those shoes.

I sincerely hope that you don’t think of envy as a beneficial trait!

There's envy and then there's envy. You have to understand how the term is being used and I don't think you did.

Here I just joined Ugly Hedgehog and after plodding through this thread I'm wondering why?

Perhaps "Ugly" should have been my first clue?

Welcome to this forum. On your very first day. Sooner or later, you will have to evaluate the "Why?" on your own accord.

Congratulations! It may have been better to express your excitement over your accomplishment without the "humble" remark.

So, tdekany....let me ask you a couple of questions. If I were to say that at one time I wished that I could play baseball like Yogi Berra....would that be envy? Or, closer to home, if I were to say that Screamin' Scott is a photographer we could all wish we could emulate.....is that envy?

Oh, who gives a flying tortilla? So what? We should all just be happy for him. It's pretty cool. I think he's expressing an honest emotion that he's humbled that so many would visit his site. Give the man a break. I know of no other place where somebody can get picked apart over the use of a frickin' word than on UHH....whether it be "humble" or "envy."

Ah, come on, let a guy bask in the glow of his humility! I am very proud of mine.
