Silver Leaf Maple budding out

We have had an unusually hard winter this year in SW TX. Only the very cold hardy plants have survived. But, our Silver Leaf Maple is budding out and is a welcome site for the local bee population. Here are a few shots. Comments are welcomed.

Thank you for your comments. My wife, the resident horticultist, has pointed out this is Red Maple not a Silver Leaf as I originally posted. Should have asked for a proof read.😉
