Too many photographers

Found what I thought was a great place to take pictures of the eclipse this morning, a view over a grassy dune and beach to catch the reflection of the setting moon on the water. Well things didn't turn out as I had hoped. The rising sun washed out the reflection on the water but did allow me to get good exposure of the moon and foreground. My biggest misstake was not relizing how many photographers an drone operators would be on the beach. After I've had a chance to go through my shots I will post those I think are worthy.

Exactly why I don't go bonkers over something I'll just be able to just watch and enjoy.

If the presence of others bothered you, chances are your presence bothered some others as well.

Ya, sucks to be them when everyone wants solitude in the same place.

I knew when I went to bed that it would be cloudy; otherwise I might have done what I did with the solar eclipse - find a popular place and photograph the photographers.

you and me, both! i would define the presence of these people as picture takers, rather than photographers.

Exactly and that's why in such an event I would simply stay home and let others have their chances.
