First of all very nice panorama, I like it a lot.

Ron I was thinking maybe it is one of those ones that goes in in small pieces and put together inside, much like a meccano set.

Focal length choice and composition are excellent. The only negative I can find is that by using the in-camera panorama, you are limited to jpeg as an output. Had you shot it as raw, the tree at the left and other dark features would not have gotten irrevocably blocked up. A raw file might have recorded more information in those areas.

You are correct in that the Sony Pano feature is only available as a .jpg output. The other drawback is the exposure parameters are set before the image is started and can not be changed. You have to decide what you want exposed correctly and, as in this case, some things just don't fall into the area of proper exposure. But, the advantages of being able to do a pano with no PP "stiching", IMHO out weighs the lack of a RAW image. Thanks to all for the comments.

I like it. However, everything appears to have been scrunched a little sideways--all the people are very skinny.

Very nice image showing off the Parthenon even with all the ongoing restoration. I'm surprised that even with the construction, there's are a lot of visitors. Any idea when the restoration is expected to be complete?

Thanks for sharing

I was there in the 70's and again a few years ago and both times they were working on the Parthenon. In the 70's you could walk up onto the Parthenon and several of the outbuildings. Not anymore. They were all fenced off. Unfortunately The Greeks don't have a lot of extra cash to spend on restoration so things move slowly.
